Nationwide Title Clearing (NTC) is on its way to raising $15,000 for the American Cancer Society, with the help of its fun-loving but dedicated employees.
PRESS RELEASE PALM HARBOR., Fla. (PRWEB) February 27, 2012 Nationwide Title Clearing (NTC) employees may be hard-working on the surface, but if you dig deeper you will find a playful dedicated group of individuals that help out their community in a big way. As employees of the nation’s leading post-closing services provider for the residential mortgage industry, NTC workers have already raised over $3900 for Relay for Life Palm Harbor, which will be held on April 13, 2012 at Palm Harbor University High School. They currently have 29 members on their team and will continue to “fun-raise” in order to achieve their goal of $15,000, to be donated to the American Cancer Society.
During RFL season, NTC actively participates in games and enjoyable company events to raise awareness and funds for a not-so-fun-loving, but serious disease. The spirit of the Relay for Life events is to celebrate life and NTC employees take that to heart. The event slogan: Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back. is a driving motivation for team members who have lost loved ones to the disease and want to do something about it. Many NTC employees are active in the fight-against-cancer, such as:
Senior Vice President, Erika Lance, who will be speaking at the Luminary event at the commencement of the RFL activities. Erika and her daughter are avid Relay-For-Lifer’s in honor of her mother who passed away from cancer over 11 years ago.
Bobbie Stoldt of NTC is this year’s Survivor Chair (for the second time), who is herself, a survivor of cervical cancer. Bobbie is a firm believer in cancer screenings and mainly fundraises and raises awareness at the offices of NTC. She most recently held a Valentine’s Day Bake Sale with 5 other NTC employees. “This race is important to all because survivors are the ambassadors of hope,” Stoldt commented. “The more survivors we have, the more hope we have.”
In their fundraising efforts, NTC has participated in ‘Hot Dog Day’ sales, raffles and even dunk-tank events where NTC employees have the opportunity to dunk HR executives in exchange for monetary donations. Last year the Dunk Tank raised $800 and NTC plans to do it again this year.
“Even if someone is not on the team, everyone [at NTC] participates in Relay somehow,” stated Joellen Raiti, NTC Marketing VP and also the Palm Harbor RFL Publicity Chair. “Cancer has far-reaching effects, which is why we are also reaching out to our local business community this year to help and raise awareness.
Anyone or any business can help NTC reach their fundraising goal by sponsoring NTC’s team. NTC has sponsorship levels ranging from $100.00 – $1,000.00; those companies and individuals who get on board to help RFL through NTC’s team get promotional exposure through social media exposure, logos on t-shirts and other benefits.
