Nationwide Title Clearing (NTC) has raised $14,531.87 for the American Cancer Society this year, with the help of its gamesome but dedicated employees at the 2012 Relay For Life of Palm Harbor event.
PRESS RELEASE: Palm Harbor, Fla. May 29, 2012: On April 13, 2012, at Palm Harbor University High School, Nationwide Title Clearing (NTC) employees gave back to their community at the Relay For Life of Palm Harbor event to benefit the American Cancer Society. Employees of NTC, the nation’s leading post-closing services provider for the residential mortgage industry, demonstrated their hard work and dedication to their community by raising $14,531.87 this year, which earned them second place for team fundraising. This year’s event collectively raised over $85,000 for the American Cancer Society.
The great success was due to NTC’s involvement in company events, such as bake sales and raffles, to raise awareness and money for the serious disease. The NTC team was recognized for having three Star Supporters (a special designation for individuals that raise over $1500), NTC employees Erika Lance, Bruce Sheehey and Joellen Raiti all received trophies for their much appreciated efforts. Additionally, Erika Lance was acknowledged as one of the top three individual participants at this event.
“NTC employs over 250 employees and the communities in which we live and work are important to us,” stated John Hillman, CEO of Nationwide Title Clearing. “Our employees took time out to raise money for this cause voluntarily – I’m proud of their response to the [Relay For Life of Palm Harbor] event, and we are looking forward to doing it again next year.”
This is NTC’s third consecutive year of participation in this event, bringing the lifetime collective fundraising total to $32,864.87 in donations raised for the American Cancer Society. All of those funds stay local to benefit Palm Harbor residents.
For several years, NTC has been participating in various other charity events including Toys for Tots® toy drives for the holidays, regular blood & clothing drives and more. They continue to find charitable community events to participate in.
