Nationwide Title Clearing received a notice reducing filing fees for all Iowa counties effective July 1st, 2011. All filing fees have been reduced by $2.00 for the first page. The reason for the fee reduction is due to the fact that the Iowa redaction bill that raised the fee for 2 years expired on June 30, 2011.
Several of the notices indicate that the new filing fee is $7.00 for the first page, $5.00 for each additional page and that the auditors fee of $5.00 per parcel for conveyances of property remains the same.
Nationwide Title Clearing received specific notices from Polk County Recorder, Linn County Recorder, Black Hawk County and Cedar County Recorder's office, to name a few.
