Chief Information Officer (CIO) Erika Lance has been an NTC team member for over 12 years.
CIO Erika Lance has one of NTC's most prominent roles to ensure the technology and proprietary digital solutions are working seamlessly for NTC team members and its clients. Her area consists of 36 juniors, all working on NTC's digital solutions which consist of tech support, continued enhancement of NTC's revolutionary eRecording and eSigning methods, all client-facing portals like TrackingLINK, ReleaseLink and so much more.
Erika says she feels very lucky to work with the most amazing team whom truly work together with the goal of ensuring NTC clients receive the highest level of service possible.
She originally started at NTC as the VP Administration over HR and the Mailroom/Scanning (Which at the time had almost 50 staff). She moved up to Senior VP of Administration and then about one and a half years later she took over the Client Relations and Account Set-Up division. This gave Erika a unique opportunity to understand all of the process flows at NTC and how each one of services is delivered. It also gave her the client perspective and a deep understanding of client needs and ensuring NTC is able to set an industry standard and allow a degree of flexibility to set NTC apart in our industry.
Erika brings to NTC over 20 years of experience in HR and Legal and now over 12 years of experience in the residential mortgage industry.
The best career advice she ever received was delivered by NTC's CEO who told her, "As an executive always be willing and able to make a decision. Do not wait for others to act. You will make mistakes, but taking responsibility and doing something is better than waiting and doing nothing at all."
Her advice to her mentees is to never give up, always strive to be the best you can be.
When she's not driving NTC's digital solutions, she enjoys writing, directing and acting and is a published author.
She is also the proud mother of two teenagers and has a leopard gecko named Bright Eyes as a pet.
