At 38 years old, Jimmy Walby is NTC's youngest Chief Officer and helps the Chief Operations Officer (COO) oversee a staff of over 250 at NTC.
Jimmy is an instrumental member of the operations team which includes Sales, Customer Service, Document Production, Research, File Services and Quality. His leadership over these divisions has helped break records recently like the .77% reject rate in May (an all time low for NTC), and a 99.98% statute compliance rate.
Jimmy has worked at NTC for seven years and began his career in Customer Service but transferred to the Finance Division where he was promoted until he was named the Deputy COO. He credits his time in Finance to learning all of NTC's processes very well, as Finance is a wide encompassing area which gave him perspective on all of the operations of the business.
He says his favorite part of working at NTC is that coming to work is most of the time fun because of the multi-faceted nature of our industry, "so we have the ability to accomplish many things in different ways."
Jimmy has great advice for how to become promoted. He notes: " The key is to be fully responsible for your area or activity. Push whatever you are doing to the highest level possible. That could be increasing the production, improving the quality of the work, adding efficiencies or any number of things which improve the area. Make it known that you want more responsibility and show what you have done to take responsibility and make your area better."
Jimmy grew up in Tallahassee and went to all the Florida State University football games as a child and is still a diehard 'Noles fan.
When he's not helping drive the production areas of NTC, he enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy novels and spending time with his two children and wife of 17 years Chrissa, (who also works at NTC).
