    Find me on:

CHELSEA_SEGUIN_4.jpg Chelsea helps oversee a team of 20 people who ensure documents and files are accurately reviewed.

Chelsea is one of the  directors in the division of File Services who ensure NTC's collateral file audits and remediation service is executed flawlessly. We sat down with Chelsea to get to know her a little better and give insight into her business acumen and personal life.

What is your favorite part about working at NTC? Problem solving. It’s great to come to work every day and be appreciated for organizing processes, coming up with solutions and working as a team with really outstanding people. This company is always looking for ways to improve and it’s nice to be a part of it.

Have you worked in other divisions/departments at NTC? If so, which ones? And how did it help you where you are now? I started with NTC in Research as Abstract Establishment. I’ve held a few other positions in Research including Post Closing Follow up lead, Abstract Manager, and Post Closing Manager. I am new to my current post but I can definitely say the leadership experience and understanding of NTC’s products that I gained in 4A have been a huge help.

Do you have any hobbies/outside interests that you enjoy? Anything Disney. I would live at Walt Disney World if I could. I love playing cards, watching movies and going to the beach. Geocaching. Spending time with my friends and family which usually consists of eating, drinking and enjoying any body of water.

What are three things we don’t know about you? I am a New Englander. Born and raised in Maine and I hate snow, skiing and Lobster. (That is more common than you think!) For 11 years I spent my Sunday’s at the rink taking figure skating lessons. I was also an instructor for the Skating Club of Maine. I taught beginner skaters basic skills. For example, teaching young hockey players how to stop without crashing into the boards.

What professional advice do you want to give to NTC team members who want to advance in their career? Do you have a mentor, did they offer you valuable advice you want to share? Look for successful people and take their advice. Own your mistakes and actually learn from them. Don’t become complacent. Always look for ways to improve, bounce your ideas off of other people and put them into motion.

(VP of Research) Dan Nordmark has been my VP for the majority of my time at NTC. He’s really been a person I look up to. The advice and support he’s given me has made a big impact on where I am today.
