    Find me on:

Debbie_Lastoria-DSCF3525-edit-crop-3.jpg Debbie Lastoria has been an integral force behind NTC's growth for nine years.

With over 500 employees, NTC has grown exponentially in the last decade. Since 2011, NTC has grown over 350% due in large part to Debbie's prowess as a business development executive.

VP of Business Development Debbie Lastoria says her favorite part about working at NTC is how the company continues to grow but can still maintain a family environment where everyone is responsible for each other.  Within NTC's structure, she says she has exceeded personal goals that she never thought possible and now knows that the NTC family supports she receives every day is the backbone to her success.

Few people rival Debbie's experience in the residential mortgage industry.

In 1983, she started working for a small Savings & Loan that serviced 4000 loans at the time.  Because of the size; she handled several different aspects of servicing that would normally require six different departments which included loan sales and payoffs.  To support a young family; she consulted in the industry which is how she was introduced and eventually hired by TransOhio to establish a portfolio development division to grow their servicing portfolio thru correspondent lending and servicing acquisitions/sales.  This company was taken over by the FDIC which is how she ended up at a competitor of NTC to handle the transfer of the entire portfolio.  Always an operation’s manager; this led Debbie to her first sales position which eventually led her to NTC.

Long story short; she has 33 years of experience in the industry made up of 24 years specifically in sales.

Her most memorable advice she ever received was from a boss who told her to open up and express  goals as a person and a professional.  He said to restate them often and make them a daily part of a ‘To Do’ list.  She said she repeats this advice every chance she gets.

"Especially at NTC, the opportunities are grand.  Let someone know where you want to be and ask for the path to get you there," she said.

Debbie travels a lot for work but she enjoys relaxing by the pool, bike-riding, anything music related and/or spending time with her family as her favorite things to do, and what a family!  Including her eight brothers and sisters; her parents can call 75 people their immediate family.

She also opens her home and heart to a vast  extended family. Last January, Debbie and her husband purchased a home built in 1890 that houses 12 college students from all over the world in Oberlin, Ohio.

Altogether, Debbie's immediate family includes her husband named Gary and a dog named Barney.  They live in Clearwater, FL most of the time but also have a home where they spend time with our children in Oberlin, Ohio.  Their blended family includes their children named Sharon, Steve, Brandon, Brittani and Daniel and grandchildren named Ezra, Isabel, Estella, Skyler, Daylen, Alaina, Addyson and Trace.  Life is good!
