VP of Document Production Sean Hunt oversees a team of 140 people at NTC.
This effusive and good-humored executive has worked at NTC for eight years and started as the VP of Human Resources. In early 2012, he moved into the production area to help design and implement NTC's proprietary and revolutionary Document Review Process.
The valuable final product of his division is to deliver high quality documents sent to record, or to the client, on time. This large group regularly operates at a 100 % service level agreement for clients, meeting and exceeding their requirements for compliance. Sean is often credited for keeping his area productive while delivering exceptional client service.
"We have a lot of great people from all walks of life at NTC and I have something I like about each and every one of them," he said.
He credits a long list of mentors as professionals at NTC, each whom have taught him a significant amount of knowledge about the residential mortgage industry.
Prior to NTC he worked in private education. During this career stint he worked for the Executive Director who taught Sean's method of straightforwardness and respect for his team members. He also credits his mom as a mentor in his life and adds that she's really funny.
For career advice, Sean offers that he regularly hears that an employee wants to move up in the company and they want to know how to do that.
"My advice is to get fully trained in your job and ask for more responsibility. Once you get that responsibility handle it well and once you have it under control ask for more. In a sense take something difficult and make it look easy. Ask for help if you need it and be willing to help others with anything they need! We want employees to move up and this is a simple formula that may help you." This willingness to help his team members creates a happy and loyal staff to Sean.
The father of two grew up in San Diego, California and went to school for Drafting (or Technical Drawing). He enjoys spending time with his children and also authentic Mexican food, which he claims is hard to find in Florida.
