NTC's VP of Research is a lifelong Pinellas County resident and has worked with NTC for almost 14 years.
Dan Nordmark has worked in the research area for his entire career at NTC and worked his way up to the Vice President position. Previous positions that he held are as follows: Abstract Follow Up; Abstract Corrections Lead; Abstract Manager; Director of Research; and AVP of Research. He said all of his prior positions have helped him acquire knowledge about his position and that has been key to his successes here.
Dan is an incredibly effective leader, maintaining high quality standards for his large division and regularly meeting or exceeding client service level agreements. Recently, we publicized Dan's work and how his division is able to keep 70% of the orders completed internally rather than going to abstractors, which helps save our clients time and money.
He loves working at NTC for many reasons, specifically he noted recent changes we’ve made including internal perks like flex schedules and adding staff in vital areas like IT, which improve processes and morale in the company.
Prior to working at NTC, Dan had over a decade worth of experience in the researching of land records and title knowledge.
He was also employed by the state of Florida for seven years. He credits NTC's training and cross training programs for his advancement while he's been with the company.
He also acknowledged other NTC employees as his best career mentors; when NTC starting delivering title searches and reports to clients , VP of Technical Excellence Dave Larose really helped lay the groundwork for his title knowledge. Then, he worked for Michelle Walet, now Director of Routing and Personnel, for many years and learned quite a bit from her as well about the operations management side of this business.
This 15-year married father of two resides in Dunedin and is an avid baseball and football fan. Dan is known for putting together a great fantasy football team and participates in that every year.
He is also the proud chef of his household and really loves to cook!
Next week, tune back in for VP Of Document Production Sean Hunt.
