NTC and its team members are dedicated to giving local children a holiday season to remember.
NTC has donated to Toys for Tots in the past, and this year is no different. We are currently collecting toys above and beyond the $1,000 worth of toys we've purchased already. This year, we are also donating to the Children's Home of Tampa.
VP of Marketing Gina Morales stopped by Wild 94.1 Orlando Davis's annual toy drive this week to present toys for the Children's Home, The Children's Home is a child- and family-centered organization that is positioned to care for struggling families and children seeking the comfort of a loving family. With roots that can be traced back to 1892, we have been a beacon in the community—providing a safe haven for children who have suffered abuse, neglect or abandonment. The tradition of love sparked by our founders continues to be our driving force to protect, heal and care for Tampa Bay’s children and families. We believe children deserve the opportunity to have a happy childhood. We believe families deserve a chance to be successful. These values are the essence of our mission to create a community where children and families feel loved, nurtured, and safe.Children need love. Families need security. That's why we are charged with being the source of strength and opportunity for children and families. Through our nationally recognized residential therapeutic program to our Family Support and Resource Centers, we have impacted the lives of many who rely on support and care during times of uncertainty.Over the years, we have helped more than 6,000 children realize their dream of a family, and we have cared for more than 25,000 children in the community.The Children's Home is a local 501 (C)(3) not-for-profit organization serving the Central Florida region.
Orlando Davis, Programming Director and Online Personality on Wild 94.1, commits to one week of living outside during the holidays each year to collect as many toys as possible for the Children's Home.
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity is the fundraising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps and provides support in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, who directs the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation has supported Toys for Tots since 1991.
The toys we are donating from NTC are going directly to the Palm Harbor area, where NTC is headquartered.
