Last week, two NTC eRecord Executives attended the California e-Recording Transaction Network Authority (CERTNA) Conference in Lake Tahoe, CA. CERTNA is one of the two authorized California eRecord portals.
NTC’s presence at the conference was warmly welcomed and well received. As one of their top submitting agents, NTC is committed to strengthening its relationship with CERTNA and eRecording in the state of California, which is the fastest moving real estate market in the country, according to a recent CNN article. This is the first time NTC has attended CERTNA’s annual conference since its formation.
CERTNA was formed in 2007 to work with state legislators and consultants to set up rules and regulations for eRecording in California. At the same time, the entity was working with vendors to create and manage an eRecording system. NTC began eRecording with CERTNA in 2012. CERTNA currently covers 11 California counties currently and three more counties will soon be added.
At the request of the CERTNA Executive Director, NTC was invited to demonstrate its Document Review, eSign and eNotary processes to all attending California County Clerks and their staff. NTC now eRecord's over 70% of our documents.
