NTC's monetary donation this Thanksgiving season helps the Food Emergency and Services Team (F.E.A.S.T) serve families in need right here in Palm Harbor, where NTC is headquartered.
Each year, over 3,000 families visit FEAST food pantry for groceries and supportive services. FEAST provides to Northern Pinellas County residents faced with food insecurity. NTC gave $250 to help serve our community this Thanksgiving season.
The need for food assistance in our area is at an all-time high. Compared to the rest of America, Florida experiences extreme food insecurity rates with more than 16.2% of our families and children going without on a daily basis. Turning away no one in need, F.E.A.S.T. annually dispenses 76 tons of food and over 95% of all donated funds to Florida families in Northern Pinellas County, Florida.
FEAST is an independent, non-profit 501-C3 nondenominational food bank. Our volunteer based organization has been serving residents of Pinellas County for over 30 years.
