Casey Krajza was voted by executives as the Employee of the Month for the month of June.
NTC has received so much positive feedback regarding our Executive Spotlight Series, we thought it'd be fun to start sharing details regarding our employee of the month.
We are beginning the series with June's Employee of the Month Casey Krajza, who is based at NTC Palm Harbor. He is a sytems support specialist in our IT division.
Casey was voted as Employee of the Month because he helped our NTC Dallas team begin work on a major client project. His meticulous notes, outline and contribution allowed NTC's IT division to get started on this very important project right away.
What is your favorite part about working at NTC?
I would have to say the employee-centered environment. There is a lot of team work and employee focus.
How long have you worked with NTC?
Since October 2015.
Have you worked in other divisions/departments at NTC? If so, which ones? And how did it help you where you are now?
I started in Online Research. It was a great area to start in learning about NTC and the real estate industry.
What professional training/experience do you have in the housing industry and/or in your field?
My major background was a combat medic in the army for six years and teaching scuba diving for two years. My mom taught me how to use a computer when I was 5 years old. It gives me 20 plus years experience in a sense.
Do you have any hobbies/outside interests that you enjoy?
I absolutely love hockey and the Tampa Bay Lightning. I used to play for the Junior Lightning as a kid. I also love scuba diving and riding my motorcycles.
What are three things NTC team members don’t know about you?
- I have a puppy named Luna – she is super sweet and full of energy.
- I once dove to 120 feet on a re-breather system.
- My favorite show growing up was Sponge Bob Square Pants.
What professional advice do you want to give to NTC team members who want to advance in their career? Do you have a mentor, did they offer you valuable advice you want to share?
My advice is to always have pen and paper for notes. You may learn something new every day. Also, never be afraid to work and or ask questions. NTC's long time team members are a wealth of knowledge.
