System Administrator Jason Durante has 12 years of IT and network infrastructure experience.
This four year NTC team member enjoys solving problems and working with a dyanamic group of people. Jason brings previous banking industry experience as he worked for Bank of America for three years.
Jason was nominated as employee of the month by two chief level exeuctives due to his willingness to help and spend his personal time on projects for the enhancement of NTC and its IT products. He has also led several major upgrades for the IT area.
He began his career at NTC in Data Entry then moved to the document processing lead position in his first year.
He applied for a position IT in his second year. He credits his experience from his previous posts as giving him an understanding of NTC’s processes, employee/departmental needs and expectations when resolving issues.
His advice for anyone who wants to move up or ahead in their career is, "It’s easy get lost in the day to day tasks and lose sight of the big picture. Remember to take a step back every once and a while to refocus."
Jason is a big traveler; he's visited eight countries and 20 of the 50 states in the U.S. One surprising thing about him is that he competed in semi-professional drag racing at the Sunshine Speedway for three years.
How do you know when someone has found their true career passion? When they do the same 'work' even when not on the clock. Jason enjoys running his own media server on his off time. If you don't find him working with technology, he's either kayaking and/or spending time with his three children. We really appreciate the hard work of this amazing NTC team member!
